Ahuva Samber

Prior to joining the Chicago Family Therapy Center, Ahuva worked in Community Mental Health and Intensive Outpatient Settings with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and diverse presenting issues. In her practice, she brings a gentle and attuned style as she assists clients struggling with individual and interpersonal issues such as those arising from life transitions, postpartum mood disorders, child parent attachment issues, and self-esteem, amongst others. Ahuva works collaboratively with clients to gain understanding and acceptance of themselves, enhance relationships, and improve an overall sense of peace and fulfillment in their lives. She uses warmth, empathy, and humor to create a space where individuals can feel empowered to achieve their personal goals. Ahuva is passionate about studying the continuous developments in the field regarding the brain, mind-body connection, and trauma to offer her clients the best experience she possibly can of this precious time.
